Good instruments to play during a hiking/ outdoor trip?

Well I'm going to be doing a lot of camping this summer and I'd like something (instrument) that would fit in my pack easily that can make some music. I'm already a musical person ( choir, piano, whistling ) so it wouldn't be too hard hopefully for me to pick it up. I was thinking something along the lines of a harmonica or a penny whistle.
