How much can I sell my bike for?

Last year I bought a 13 inch frame hardrock specialized. It's a pretty sucky bike, especially now that It's too small for me. No disks, and junky shifters. Can psychologists or therapists give instruction on medication?

I was seeing one psychologist for a short while for therapy. She told me that she specialized in medication even though she was not authorized to prescribe. I was on one medication that my actual psychiatrist had put me on. She instructed me to stop taking it, go to a physician she knew and get a prescription for a different specific medication and told me what dose to start at. This made me rather suspicious. Is this legal? She didn't write the prescription, but gave instructions on what to take, what not to take, and how much to take. I didn't think psychologists had any kind of authority to tell you to stop taking something. She seemed a bit crazy herself actually.

Rankings dont mean anything. If they were at all that important we might as well not have a WC and give the trophy to whoever is ranked 1st after 4 years. Sure it is nice to have recognition by FIFA but its really not that important. If you ask me, its pretty cool to be considered amongst the top 20 NTs in the world. We should stop worrying USA and concentrate on Mexico. France might have barely qualified in Europe but theyre still france. In my opinion they are a seeded team in hiding, as far as our group goes. I guess the explanation for the ranking is that USA played the 3rd best team in the world while Mexico played the 90th, 105th, and 51st best team in the world.

There are a lot of great bikes out there, but not all that many good bike shops. If you have had good service from your Specialized dealer, perhaps you should stick with them. Really, the shop you deal with is more important than the brand of bike. A good shop will listen to what you want to do with your bike and guide you to the bike you need. Touring and racing are very different, if you buy a bike with racing in mind, it won't work for touring, you will need your Sirrus for that. Its fine to buy a bike for the looks, but the fit and the way it handles are much more important. Take me, I have 2 great road bikes. The one that looks better to me is ridden less often than the one whose looks I like less because that one fits me better and feels like it is part of me when I ride it. Make sure you try out the bikes you are thinking about buying, and I don't mean a spin around a parking lot, really try them.

So I guess I should start from the beginning. I currently have two jobs at the moment; they're both at dental offices specializing in different things. She started working that same day for 7 hours. At first, she was excited. She promised to not let me down, embarrass me or made me look bad; It's barely two days later & I got a text from her about 2 hours ago saying that she wanted to quit! Here's the thing: she doesn't want to tell the doctor straight up and she was just going to stop coming in. The reason? The doctor wasn't going to pay her until she got her certificates. I told her straight up that because she's not in an internship program or in the process of getting her papers, that in order for her to get paid, she needed her certificates and she just bluntly told me "by law, I AM supposed to get paid." Is it right for me to feel disappointed in her and to feel like she just totally betrayed me? Or am I just over-thinking it? I've stopped talking to her for the last couples hours to calm myself down but I still can't help but feel this way.

Dog howling at harmonica?

So I practice the harmonica frequently and have 2 dogs at home. One is a terrier mix and the other is pure bred dashound(though he's the runt of the litter and quite the wiseass). Now when I play around them the terrier has absolutely no problem with the sounds high or low of the harmonica but when I hit the lower bends the wiseass whines and howls at me. I was wondering does this have to do with him having stronger ears and it hurting him. Or is it just his nature as a hound dog to howl at the blues?

I am so embarrassed and haven't stepped foot in a salon in a long time. I have very thin hair, that you can see my scalp throughout my head. The couple of times I've gone to a salon is when I needed an updo for a special occasion. Most stylist can't deal with my hair at all and don't know what to do... and I don't blame them. I just feel there is nothing that could help me. She had been struggling with various health issues all of her life, which is why I want to adopt one from a reputable breeder this time around. Need some Mechanic advice?

i just had a friend tow a older mercedes to a new mechanic who works with foreign cars. It needed a head gasket so when i took the car to meet him and drop it off he told me he would work for 70 a hour. Later that day he contacted me after running some kind of gas test to verify it needed the gasket. He had told me parts and laborer i would be looking for around a thousand dollars. I had decided to go ahead with that and asked about how many days it would take and he told me about 2-3 days. it was Tuesday i had dropped off the car. i called thursday to find out what the deal was and when i should pick it up he then told me that he had shipped the head into have test to make sure it was not cracked or damaged. After reading online that the text usually take about a day i decided to have my wife call friday when i was working and he had told my wife he had got the head and everything was fine and the car would be ready by monday. Today i called to find out when i should have a friend take me up to get my car and i was told that they were waiting for a new piece? the piece is a timing chain guide. i kinda got upset and told the women the mechanic told my wife my car would be ready to be picked up monday and all the pieces where ready just had to put the gasket and head back together. he said that usually takes anywhere from 5-9 hours. I dont know whats up with the timing chain guide but i never was asked to have that replaced also could he have damaged it while working on the head gasket and needs to be replaced and is going to expect me to pay for it? i dont know this mechanic i was referred by someone and read alot of online review from local on yahoo that says good things. i just dont understand why it would take him as long as it is then to all of a sudden say it needs this new piece or does this piece get replaced along with the valves and the gasket he told me that the head gasket kit comes with? also i know my wife called to talk to the mechanic after i did cause i was loosing my cool but she lost hers to cause they did not give any information or tell us how much longer this is going to take. my wife said if the car was not ready by tomorrow we would have it towed to someone else cause of the time and all this hassle. Yesterday I bought a Marine Band 1896 Harmonica and I've played it for probably 3 or 4 hours since. I wouldnt worry about it if I were you. I've had 6-7 month late periods before, and everything was fine, no pregnancy or anything either. Just be thankful for the break and enjoy it while it lasts! And med schools won't accept you if they think you're just in it for the money - and since you don't like science, it will be very clear in your application that you didn't take extra science courses or do research in the fields. You can not get into med school with a BSRN, you would need to take quite a few extra higher science courses (1-2 years worth). If you want to be a doc, pursue that. A person cannot reply to any posts in the forum, therefore it is not really a forum. I also stumbled upon some of their propaganda images depicting the West as an evil force. From what I can read they seem to accuse the USA of stopping the reunification of the North and South, and state they will not rest until they are unified. They seem to blame the USA for everything. I find this disturbing because it seems like a good way to control the masses and have all the power in the country because there is a common evil enemy (USA and the west) and for the local North Koreans that probably don't know any better due to censorship in the country it may be the only perceived truth they know. What do you think?

Guitar Distortion Pedals?

Hey guys, I am currently looking for some preferably high-end guitar distortion (or whatever is needed) type of pedals to get a few different sounds of music. I have a Dean Warbird and a Schecter Hellraiser Special C1-FR (incase you need to know) going through a marshall 100-watt amp (hoping to eventually upgrade to a half-stack, but ill post another question for that when the time comes). I have a distortion pedal, but it is one of those do-everything pedals that is electronic and doesnt specialize in anything in particular, and hoping to upgrade. I have saved up a little money, and want to get some new ones. I am in a band that plays rock (to appease to the bar setting that most of our gigs are at), metal and postcore/deathcore stuff occasionally (very ranged genre type, i know). I was hoping to get pedals that really make my sound great for all of those. If possible, I am hoping to get a pedal that would have great tone and crispness for classic rock, but with enough distortion to play modern rock. The second pedal I want is one that has great gain/distortion and would have the dark and very distorted (but not sooooo much that it is unbearable and undistinguishable) sound that bands like Attila/Within the Ruins would use. I would also like one (for me, not really for the band) that would have the right sound and tone for, say, Avenged Sevenfold type of songs, with lots of solos and preferably made to sound geat with drop D.......... I know this is asking a lot, but if you guys could compile maybe a list or at least answer to one of those, that would be really,really helpful....... Thanks.

2.0 - basic stereo L and R speakers, 2.1 - same L and R speaker but now a subwoofer is added to take over the low end. 5.1 - usually for movies and games as this adds 2 rear channels, and most importantly a center channel. usually this is where most of the sound will come from because most sound from movies is talking. there is also 7.1 that adds 2 MORE rear channels and 8.1 that adds a center channel in the back. but no one really puts out any movies with 7.1 or 8.1 sound. at least not yet

Why do people focus so much on APR when DPR should be the real killer?

Ok so about a month ago I had my fingerprints taken for a security job but never got a call back from them. I went did some searching on http://www.idfpr.com/DPR/AppServices/Fingerprint/default.asp when i searched my fingerprints, the illinois state police results said "HIT" and the FBI results said "CLEAR". What does the hit mean? and what can i do to change it? I have had my fingerprints taken when I was 16 or 17 (i cant remember) but that is it. I am a nervous wreck and would appreciate any feedback. What are the different kinds of pilot jobs?

I know where close to me I can get a private pilot license, but I would like to, if possible, make a living at being a pilot. I was not in the military (and I'm a little too old to do it now), so I'm wondering if there are other kinds of pilot jobs where you can make a living (I know private pilot license does not permit making money). I read somewhere that you can get "specialized pilot licenses," and that helps you get a job if you weren't in the military, BUT they didn't say what those "specialized" licenses are. (By the way, I'm not sure I have the - um - guts to do the cropduster thing - looks dangerous, at least in North by Northwest!) Also, are there many female pilots, does anyone know? Thanks!

I recieved an email and a letter from Gibney Anthony & Flaherty LLP?

I had purchased two jerseys from the same seller over ebay. He owns a store that specializes in NHL jerseys. I got them in the mail and the sizes where not right. So I decided to resell them on ebay. Next thing I know, I recieved an email and a letter from Gibney Anthony & Flaherty LLP saying that I am illegally selling merchandise (the two jerseys). That the two jerseys are fakes. I sooo did not know that. How could they tell anyway from a picture on ebay. I can't tell a fake from a real one anyways. Anyway, the letter states that they are demanding that I turn the jerseys over or I will be held liable for all sorts of damages. They are requiring that I give them the sellers information too. My question is, how legitimate is this? I am scared. Do I have too turn the jerseys over? I don't know what to do. I am a single mom trying to survive. Help!!!! Do I have to comply? What will happen if I do not respond. Is this just a scare tactic.

Three years ago I had a car accident in which my collar bone was broken as well as my arm in three places and my hand all on one arm. I ended up after six un successful surgeries with an orthopaedic surgeon and then ended up being referred to an Orthapaedic Tramatologist for two more surgeries and am awaiting the hopefully last surgery next month. I have been going to the traumatologist for about a year and a half now. During the three years there has not been a time that I was not taking lortab. So the last time I was seen by the doctor his assistant uped my dosage as I have a large titanium plate with eleven screws and though it is extremely painful can not be removed until enough bone develops under it. I have screws ripping my skin and the plate moves and often burns like it is moving too much. (Sorry this is so long!) Anyway they have trouble keeping office personell as the doctor works seven days a week and actually preforms surgery seven days a week. Well about three months they hired this horrible woman who missed her calling as a corections officer in a maximum security prison!! Her first day she out of nowhere calls me and tells me she feels strongly that I need to be weened from the lortab...I am a dutiful patient and said okay, figuring it had come from the doctor. She goes into this long drawn out story about how she used to work in a rehab center and how I reminded her of this woman who ended up shooting heroine in the bathroom at work when they tried to break her addition to hydrocodone...I found it bizare that she felt compelled to tell me this story but figured she was just bored. She asked me if I would like a script for methadone to get over my addiction. I told her I did not have an addiction, I had pain, but I was willing to try the weening and no I did not need methadone. Well that for some reason pissed her off enough to tell the receptionist to forward all calls from me to her. So when I called for my one year follow-up they transferred me to her and she started screaming at me you are not getting any more hydrocodne from me or this office so until I feel you are ready. I told her that I was calling to make an appointment not for a refill. She told me everything I did was to go through her and there was no point in me making another appointment for surgery just to get more hydrocodne as she could assure me I would not get any after surgery. I know doctors are regulated under the department of professional regulations but who regulates nutbag secretarys? I would hate to have to report the doctor to DPR because he has really bad office staff but what else can I do? I am off the hydrocodone and have to deal with extreme pain but I was off of it two weeks before she suggested I be because she had me scared to death I was going to become a heroine addict!! I am not one to make waves but this doctor deals with extreme trauma cases and I shudder to think what she might be doing to some of the other patients most of who are elderly! Also my general practicianer says I should be on pain meds until the plate is out because my level of pain now will cause me to not get proper exercise and it could cause my should muscles to atrophie. He offered to write me a script but I told him I would wait until my appointment because I am actually affraid of this woman. What would you do? Again I apologize for the lenghth of the question!

Do we have to pay the mechanic if they can't fix the problem?

Our Honda had a major transmission problem and we sent it to this mechanic which, after 3 months of rebuilding and installing and such, still can't fix it. They figured that it was an electrical problem and he really doesn't specialize in that. The problem is, if we decide to tow it out of his shop and into the actual Honda dealership, do we still have to pay him? We haven't talked to him yet, but we really don't want to pay because he didn't fix it, despite the fact that he probably spent a lot of money buying parts and new transmissions (he replaced the transmission three times) and labor.

Hello my fellow readers. What should I expect when going in as a combat medic with an option 40 contract? I know that after basic and AIT I go to Airborne School then RASP, but would I get the same training as everyone else in terms of going to specialized schools(Air Assault, Ranger, Pathfinder,etc.) I'm also aware that I would be considered an W-1(Special Operations Combat Medic) what kind of training should I expect for my specialty? What is the best type of harmonica for me to buy?

I've played guitar now for about 4 1/2 years but I've become interested in playing something else too. I've started on ukulele here about a month ago but it's pretty similar to the guitar so I'd like to start playing the harmonica. To be honest a cheap set of Piedmont Blues by Hohner, granted there not exactly professional grade but as a beginner you need to find your ear and spending money on a specific key is not going to help you find it, this way you get all the most common and your not in them for more than $20/$25 bucks in most cases, once you find your ear you can spend the money on the keys you like best in a more professional harp, as I play guitar at the same time I'm usually in a G or C for my style of music, and no there not the Piedmont Blues models
