Really want to learn guitar, but im not sure how to start off...?

I've been teaching myself some harmonica for the past few weeks and believe I've been doing quite well, but now i want to try guitar. should i try and get one on one lessons or learn from books and teach myself? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
